Our Programs

At BridgeTO Youth, we offer programs for both high school and post-secondary students. It is more than just support —we provide free tutoring to boost academic success, monthly groceries to help families, scholarships to ease the path to higher education, and mentorship to guide students through life’s challenges.

Our Impact

At BridgeTO Youth, we’ve helped over 500 students from low-income families achieve their goals through personalized tutoring and mentorship. Many have gone on to competitive programs at the University of Waterloo, the University of Toronto, York University, and more. Some have even earned full-ride scholarships, like the Loran Scholarship Award. At BridgeTO, we’ve built a safe, inclusive community where every student gets the support they need to reach their full potential.

Our Free High School Program

  • Our monthly grocery program provides nutritious food to families in need, ensuring support with dignity, privacy, and respect. Eligible families are those with financial need who are part of our BridgeTO community. The program allows families to receive groceries discreetly, ensuring their integrity and well-being are prioritized.

  • Our virtual tutoring program offers high school students personalized academic support from experienced tutors. With flexible scheduling and one-on-one sessions, students can get help in key subjects, improve their grades, and build confidence—all from the comfort of home.

  • Each month, a Student of the Month will be selected from each grade, nominated by BridgeTO team members. Awards are based on student engagement, improvement, and positive attitude. Winners will receive exciting prizes, ranging from gift cards to cool gadgets, as recognition for their hard work and dedication!

  • Our high school mentorship program supports students as they navigate high school and prepare for the transition to post-secondary education. Through personalized guidance, students receive help with academic planning, career exploration, and building the skills needed for success after graduation.

  • Our scholarship program offers financial awards for grade 11 and 12 students, ranging from $500 to $1,000. These merit-based scholarships are awarded to students who consistently meet program expectations and receive strong praise and references from BridgeTO team members. It's our way of recognizing dedication and helping students take the next step in their academic journey.
